In my art lessons we have started using oils and at the end of each lesson there is always a little left over on my palette. I have taken to keeping a piece of card stock in my bag and using up the paint on it - this is one such piece. The downside is it takes quite a while to dry especially seeing it is winter in our part of the world at the moment.
The stamp used on top of the red oil paint is Kaisercraft Flourish with the sentiment being Kaszazz, Lucy's Stamps - Happy Birthday.

Cottage Cutz Lace Envelope / Kaisercraft - Flourish
Once I started on this series of small cards (58mm x 178mm) it was fun going through all my stamps looking for suitable images. This Kaisercraft Clear Stamps Flourish is quick and easy and stamps well first time. I used Archival black ink on the stamp and the band across the card is sponged with Shabby Shutters Distress ink.

Kaisercraft - Postmarks
Kaisercraft stamps are not always my first choice but the latest lot I picked up at Simply Creative here in Cape Town are making me reach for them. I stamped out this image a couple of times before realising the image is supposed to be a bit fuzzy and it was not my eyesight or the ink I was using !
The ink used for Postmarks was Versafine Vintage Sepia. The background paper is from a large 12 x 12 pad called Alison made by Me & My Big Ideas. I stamped on the paper with the Hero Art Old Letter Writing stamp also using Versafine Vintage Sepia ink. The layer of paper underneath (the scalloped edge which I hand cut) is also from the same paper pad.

Kaisercraft - Decorative Lamp
Wanting to do a quick, one layer card I reached for Kaisercraft's Clear Stamps Decorative Lamp image. The inks used were Versafine Onyx Black for the image and Archival for the sentiment. The sentiment is from the Stampin Up set called Kind & Caring Thoughts.

Tag - Slice - Farm Life
I have an idea in mind to make a tag box and have made a start on a few of the tags. The tag is the largest of the Go Kreate Concentric Tag #1 die set with the background paper being from Creative Memories.
The red gloves are from the Slice Farm Life set and I edged them with the Kaisercraft Clear Stamps Lace image in black.

Kaisercraft Mini Clear Stamp - Owl
Not the greatest photo as it was taken at night, apologies. I started by stencilling the background, which is from a Dreamweaver's stencil called Bare Trees (LJ 849), with 3 different colours of Distress Ink.
The owl is a cutie which I bought from Simply Creative a couple of days back - I could not resist her. I stamped the image onto watercolour paper using Coffee Archival ink and coloured it in with a variety of markers and a blender pen. The branch she is standing on comes from a Cottage Cutz die called Winter Owl and the sentiment is a Penny Black one.

Hero Arts / Sizzix Stamp & Emboss - Postage & Frame Set
I recently bought this new Hero Arts concept from Simply Creative here in Cape Town. I do like the idea of a stamp and emboss combo and Sizzix seem to have gotten the embossing folder correctly lined up unlike some of the Cuttlebug cut and emboss folders.
Using Sepia Archival ink I stamped the image and then embossed it. I lightly went over part of the image with a couple of Distress inks and popped the sentiment stamp in the label area. The sentiment is from Kaisercraft - Life's Sentiments and reads "a journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step". I thought it was a fitting sentiment for the stamp.

Kaisercraft - Duchess Clear Stamp
I do not have much in the way of Kaisercraft stamps but when I saw this one over at Simply Creative I thought it may have potential. Using maroon Archival ink the image stamped out first time. I then die cut it with Spellbinders Labels Twenty.
The sentiment is from Gina K Designs Tag Lines set and it was die cut with Clear Dollar dies.

Tag - Birthday Boy Kaisercraft
Kaisercraft are one of the few readily available stamps in my part of the world. I usually am not attracted to them but I thought this little Clear Stamp CS 910 had potential.
I stamped the airplane in Archival Cobalt Blue, cut it out and once it was fixed onto the cardstock I added the vapour trail stamp. The Nestabilities used were Long Rectangles, Classic and Scalloped. The sentiment is from an unnamed Inkadinkado set.
