Punch Art - Santa in Chimney

I look at this card with the snowflake background and am wishing for icy cold weather as we have 35 deg C today, down from 41 yesterday !!

Starting from the snow background, I used the CI-241 Crafty Individuals stamp in Archival French Ultramarine ink layered over with vellum to dull the effect.  The 'brick' effect for the chimney is a Creative Expressions Brick embossing folder darkened with Walnut Stain Distress ink.

Santa punch art :
Mittens - small Spellbinders Nested Eggs, trimmed with leftovers from a Cottage Cutz die
Hat - drawn and cut free hand (my art classes are paying off !)

Hat trim - middle sized Stampin Up oval punched out of sparkly white paper
Face - small sized Stampin Up oval
Moustache - Stampin Up Blossom Petals Builder punch
Nose and pom pom on hat- 5/16" circle SU
Eyes - from my stash - I have a whole packet of them already punched out

Additional :
Toy sack - PK-205 Feed, Santa or Flour Sacks stamped with Hero Arts Ancient Motif in Archival Sepia ink
Gifts - stamps unknown as have had them laying around in my Xmas stash for ages

The sentiment is Hero Arts Happy Holiday Trees in Archival Sepia on a retired Clear Dollar die.

Penny Black - Sweet Day by Mo Manning

This delightful stamp by Mo Manning called Sweet Day was coloured in using Copics.  I used Momento black ink on Cryogen paper bought from 7 Kids College Fund.

The Copics used were :
Skin - E000 / E00 / E21
Hair - E25 / E31
Leaf and strawberry tops - G82 / G 94
Dress - B26 / B23 / B21
Strawberries - R24 / R27 / R29
Yellow flower - Y35 / YR04 / YR02 / YR01
Red flower - RV25 /  RV29
Shoes - C1 / C3 /  C5
Grass - G82 / G21

The image was framed with a Go Kreate Oval and the edges were sponged using Antique Linen Distress ink.  The background paper is from Creative Memories - Storybox Primary.  The sentiment is from a Stampin Up set called Kind & Caring Thoughts and it was die cut using the Clear Dollar Designer Label die.

Memory Box - Jasmine Frame

I decided to make a set of small cards in a box as a gift and used the Memory Box die called Jasmine Frame on all 4.  The sentiments are from a variety of different Hero Arts stamp sets with the Christmas one being a peel off.  The labels are from a retired Clear Dollar die set.

Thank You Card

I cased this card from Tami Mayberry's blog and used Creative Memories paper for it.  The sentiment is from the Hero Arts set called Say it All and it was die cut using a Clear Dollar die which appears to be retired.  The Spellbinders die behind it is Labels Four and the uncharateristic (for me) bling is from Basic Grey's Bling It.

Katzelkraft - Chat Kipling - again

This is definitely a set of stamps I will get a lot of use out of.  The images are so detailed that it is not necessary to add any colour to them.

On this card I framed the image using a Sizzix Oval - these dies are narrow ovals and come in really handy.  The border punch is a Martha Stewart one, the sentiment is from Clear Dollar's Something to Crow About and it was punched out using the Stampin Up Word Window punch.  The die behind the sentiment is a Clear Dollar one and the black die cut behind that is from Memory Box Pastry Labels die.

Quick & Simple Card

This is another card made using a card map.  I took a black card, topped it with Creative Memories patterned paper and used half of a Go Kreate Large Frame / Frilly #2 die cut out of black paper.

I finished it off with a vertical piece of patterned paper and black bow.  The sentiment is from the Stampin Up set called On Your Birthday and it was die cut using Clear Dollar Tabs and Tags.

Kaisercraft - Duchess Clear Stamp

I do not have much in the way of Kaisercraft stamps but when I saw this one over at Simply Creative I thought it may have potential.  Using maroon Archival ink the image stamped out first time.  I then die cut it with Spellbinders Labels Twenty.

The sentiment is from Gina K Designs Tag Lines set and it was die cut with Clear Dollar dies.

Flourishes - Kids Play - boy

This card has been on my desk for a while now.  I am not that wild about it but at the moment I have no other finished project.

Using the Flourishes Kids Play set and black Archival ink I die cut the image with a couple of Spellbinders Circles.  The sentiment is from the same Flourishes stamp set and it was die cut with Clear Dollar Tabs and Tags.  I thought the water could do with a bit of colour but got a little carried away with the shade.

Peachy Keen - Winter Peekers

I was not going to post this card as the colouring in is not good at all, but I really had nothing else.  I am way behind on all my projects.

The snowman is from Peachy Keen PK327 Winter Peekers & Phrases and he was coloured in using Aquamarkers - still have to get used to those !  The red scalloped circle and ribbon set up was left over from last year's unused Xmas toppers and I added a larger green circle made from locally sourced sugar paper, embossed with the CB Swiss Dot folder and lightly distressed around the edges.

The sentiment is from Kaszazz and the die it is on is from Clear Dollar Tabs and Tags set.
