Masculine cards are always difficult for me to create. When I tried this Paper Artsy London Bus stamp I thought it could do with a bit of a background so, after making a mask of the bus, I used a Dreamweaver stencil called Bare Trees and sponged it with Distress Ink. Then I thought it looked a bit boring and was going to toss the image but came up with the idea of cutting it into four and matting it onto black card stock.
The paper behind the black card stock is from Creative Memories and I swiped a white ink pad around the edges. The sentiment is from an unnamed set.

Dreamweaver Stencil - Baby Carriage
I started off with the Dreamweaver Stencil for the baby carriage and the card sort of went on from there. The sentiment is from a Cuttlebug alphabet die, the card stock which the stencil is on was die cut using Spellbinders classic and scalloped rectangles. I used a Cuttlebug embossing folder underneath and edged card stock with Distress Ink.
The little panda is from an Inkadinkado set called Baby Animals and the nest die it is seated on is from BossKut.

Bookmarks 2
A couple more bookmarks using Inkadinado images on the left hand side one and Flourishes stamps on the right hand side one.
I am loving searching through my stamps to put onto the bookmarks. It is like discovering them all over again !

Hero Arts - London Background
Whilst using this Hero Arts London Background stamp recently I did not stamp the first image to my satisfaction. Instead of tossing it I kept the part which was acceptable and die cut it using a Spellbinders circle. This was matted onto another circle and placed on a Creative Memories piece of striped paper cut out using the Spellbinders Deckle edge long rectangles.

Marianne D die - Cupcake
A plain and simple card using the Marianne D die called Cupcake. I really like this die and think it is one of the better cupcake dies on the market.
The cupcake is matted onto 3 different sized Spellbinders Labels Three. The sentiment is from the Hero Arts set called Birthday Sayings.

Bookmarks
I think it was over on Pinterest I saw this idea with paint swatches. Well, whilst looking for mine I came across these strips which I thought would do just fine.
The strips were cut in half and trimmed at the top. The protectors around the hole - I cannot for the life of me remember what they are called - come from the Magnolia Romantic tag die. The blue bookmark has images from an old Hero Arts stamp set and the orange one was stamped using Flourishes Fine Herbs stamp set. The sentiment is also a Flourishes one from the set called Tag Lines.

Hero Arts - Good Fortune
A long time back I stamped out many of these lanterns and popped them into a packet for future use. Of course I promptly forgot about them and when I found the packet the other day I thought I had better start using them.
The background is Washi paper which was given to me by a friend. The lanterns are from the Hero Arts set called Good Fortune and the outside ones were coloured in using a Marvy Le Plume II marker called English Red together with a blender pen. The inside lantern was coloured in using a Tombow marker called Light Sand.
The sentiment is from the Hero Arts set called Thank You and it was die cut onto a Sizzix Oval and then onto a Clear Dollar die set called Tabs and Tags.

Memory Box - Jasmine Frame
I decided to make a set of small cards in a box as a gift and used the Memory Box die called Jasmine Frame on all 4. The sentiments are from a variety of different Hero Arts stamp sets with the Christmas one being a peel off. The labels are from a retired Clear Dollar die set.

Flourishes - Gerbera Daisies
This Flourishes Gerbera Daisies image is timeless and a real pleasure to colour in. As I needed a fuller vase I used the stamp one and a half times - a full stamp and then on the second one I used only the right hand side of the image.
Using Momento ink I stamped the images onto Neenah paper and cut them out. I used the following Copics to colour in with :
Stems G99 / G94 / G21
Orange daisy YR18 / YR16 / Y35 / Y23
Yellow daisy YR02 / Y13 / Y11 / Y000 / Y15 / Y19
Pink daisy RV34 / RV32 / RV10
The background paper is Fabscraps Burlesque Cocktail and the green circle made with a Go Kreate Plain Circles die is from the Ranger Distress Collection. The "foliage" used in the vase is from the Marianne D Leaves and Branch Forest dies. The sentiment is from the Hero Arts Good Friends set and it it on a SU Sizzlets Lots of Tags die. The vase posed a bit of a problem until I saw my Spellbinders Nested Owls die. I cut out the full die and severed the owl head like this :
I then turned the die upside down so that the feet are facing up and popped the head part at the back of the feet. It just goes to show that all is not lost when you do not have the die you are looking for - one can always make a plan !

Bildmalarna - Mimosa - Basket
This very handy size box is to be found at Stempeleinmaleins Blog complete with instructions and photo's. The box is quick and easy to make up as long as you remember to glue the paper and trimmings before assembling it - much easier that way. I did forget to do the ribbon as suggested so had to make another plan. The box open looks like this :
And from the bottom looks like this :
I stamped the Bildmalarna Mimosa - Basket image on watercolour paper and used a blender pen and variety of different markers to colour it in. The blush on her cheeks is made using Pebbles Pastel Chalks with a brush bought from Peachy Keen stamps. The border punch used is a Martha Stewart one.

Sentiment Notepad
I have a pile of 79 x 110mm notepads in my cupboard and I thought I would give DH one using different sentiments on each page.
Note sure just how many pages there are but I went through all my stamps and still had some over by the time I had finished the notepad. I thought it could be plain and simple, no covers (which I suspect would get discarded, anyway) and it is a great way to go through all the sentiments one seems to collect.
