Stampin Up - Pocket Fun

Small cards are quick, easy and fun to make.  I have had this Stampin Up image from the set Pocket Fun coloured in for years and it seems perfect for this size card.  The sentiment is from Gina K Designs Friends.

Thank you card

This offcut of paper is quite thin and transparent which gave me the idea of layering another piece of plain cream cardstock behind it and to stamp the sentiment onto the background then to layer the decorative paper over it.  Quick and easy.

Crafter's Workshop Mini Butterfly Template

When I made the last card with this template I did not do the first attempt properly but managed to save a small section to use on a card.  The template was inked with Distress Dusty Concord and I cut the strip with my Creative Memories trimmer fitted with a decorative blade.  After matting it on a piece of white cardstock I scored a couple of lines either side of the strip.

The sentiment is from WhimsyThank You Tabs 1 inked in StazOn  Vibrant Violet.

Hero Arts Sentiment - Good Friends

I am on a thank you card mission at the moment and wanted plain and simple ones.  I have some offcuts of decorative paper from a local print store and teamed it up with a Hero Arts Good Friends sentiment punched using the Stampin Up wide oval.

Crafter's Workshop - Mini Butterfly Ballet

A Crop Stop video showing how to use stencils with Distress Ink gave me an idea for a simple thank you card.  I tend to not use too many stencils but this video demonstrated using a sponge instead of a stencil brush which I normally use.

The Crafter's Workshop Mini Butterfly Ballet is a 6 x 6 template and I used Dusty Concord Distress ink on a lilac coloured paper.  The sentiment is from Stampin Up Sincere Salutations stamped with StazOn Vibrant Violet and punched out with a Stampin Up wide oval punch.

Yet another Go Kreate Concentric tag this time with the Art Impressions Tree and Leaves stamp in Archival Olive ink.  The sentiment is from an un-named Inkadinkado stamp set.  The flowers on the tree were hand done with a Stampin Up Dusty Durango marker.  The tag was finished off with Brushed Corduroy Distress ink.

Clear Dollar - Pet Angels

I have had this topper lying around for ages so am unable to remember what dies were used behind the image or how I coloured it in but think it may have been with Copics.  Being passionate about animals and understanding how distressing it is when they leave us, I find this Clear Dollar Pet Angels is a set I use over and over again.  The sentiment is from the same set.  The border punch used on the background paper is an old Martha Stewart one.
