MOTIVET - DORALINE AS A NURSE

I am not one for sending too many Get Well cards but thought this Motivet stamp could be used for all ages.  I used a normal white Merrypak card and the mesh paper placed on top is from The Deckle Edge.  The sentiment is Stampin Up and the image has been cut out using two different Nestabilities Labels dies.

CLEAR DOLLAR - PLAYFUL PIXIES

A Clear Dollar stamp just perfect for a little girl.  I used Twinkling H2O for the tutu, Stickles for the wings and gray crayon with an aqua painter for the mouse body.  The background is Creative Memories paper with faux stitching, the sentiment my usual Stampin Up (yes, I know I use it a lot but I really like it).

MOTIVET - DEXTER WITH SOCCER BALL

Yes, I know it is another Motivet image but I just love him to bits.  I made this card for our neighbour who is turning 8 next week.  He loves to look at my new stamps and thought this one was so cute.  It does make for a good boy's card (which I find quite difficult at the best of times) and, of course, I had to colour him in the national football team's colours.  The alternate square design in brown on the left hand side is something I picked up at a local craft store, the yellow background paper is a freebie from a craft magazine, the brown deckle edged rectangle is Nestabilities used in the Cuttlebug and the horizontal stripe paper is from Creative Memories.  The sentiment is from Stampin Up and is one I am going to get a lot of use out of.  In fact I used it on a card for an 80 year old yesterday.

DORALINE WITH CANDY CANE

Christmas cards are such fun to make and when I got this stamp from Motivet I knew it was just going to make a cute card.  The card is taken from an idea I saw on the Split Coast Stampers website (I cannot take the credit for it) but I had to improvise a little.  I dug out all my Christmas sentiment stamps for the circle, used a white gel pen for the faux stitching, coloured in Doraline with the usual Stampin Up, Copics & Tombow markers plus used Stickles for the hat trim and pom-pom.  The blue backing paper is Creative Memories and the brown cardstock is from Stampin Up.

PENNY BLACK - MISSED YOU !

A delightful golfing image from Penny Black. The stamp fitted perfectly into Nestabilities classic circles & scallops. The background paper is Creative Memories once again (I have quite a stash) with the punch and sentiment being Stampin Up.

MOTIVET - DEXTER WITH CHRISTMAS GIFT

The Motivet range of Dexter stamps is fast becoming a favourite of mine. The background paper is from Creative Memories, the sentiment is Inkadinkadoo and the scalloped circle and continuous scallop punch are both from Stampin Up. Just had to use Diamond Stickles on the white trim and pom pom of his hat.

ART IMPRESSIONS - LOVELLE

Lovelle is such a fun character to colour in and now I have flesh coloured Copic markers the image takes on a more realistic look.

Background papers are Creative Memories. The continuous punch used is from EK Success and the sentiment is Art Impressions.

STAMPIN UP SNOWY PLAY - XMAS CARD

Of all the Christmas stamps I think I must have dozens of snowmen ! Thought I would colour this one in anything but the usual Christmas shades. I used Nestabilities ovals and labels for all the shapes as well as Cuttlebug embossing folders on the white and yellow cardstock. The sentiment is from Stampin Up Teeny Tiny Wishes.

RUBBER ROMANCE - BABS

Just love this stamp from Rubber Romance which is quick and easy to colour in. The sentiment is from Penny Black and the background is scored horizontally and vertically to make it look like bathroom tiles. Used the usual mixture of Twinklings, SU and Marvy Le Plume markers to colour in.
