Tag - Stamparvie - Gillian Roberts - Christmas Stocking

Having just recently been to a "Christmas in July" dinner - it is something us Southern Hemisphere folks get up to in our winter - I thought it is time to post a Christmas tag I made a while back.

The image was coloured in using markers and Smooches.  The background paper is one I made ages ago using a straw and ink coloured water.  If I remember correctly you blow bubbles which then pop onto the paper and the result is as above.  The circles are Nestabilities Classic and Scalloped.

After stamping and colouring in this really cute stamp with SU markers and Smooches, I cut it out and embossed it using Nestabilities Circle.  Leaving the die still on the circle I sponged Distress Ink onto the cardstock.  This is a technique I love using as it gives an interesting result.  I then used Nesties Petite Scalloped Circles to mat the image on.

The embossed dots on the left hand side are a CB border folder and the sentiment is a Penny Black one.

This image is one of those real easy ones to colour in.  I think one could do a whole lot of them in a relatively short period of time.  I used a combination of markers and cut the image out.  The background paper is from a SU pad which I received for free and I popped the image on rises for more effect.  The sentiment is from Hero Arts.

Took myself out of my comfort zone on this one mixing different papers.  The background papers are SU with the Nestabilities circles being CM.  The sentiment is Hero Arts and the ribbon is one picked up locally.

The Stamparvie images are such a delight to work with and the designs are so cute.
